- Keep your baby in a SMOKE FREE environment house and car)
- ROOM SHARE until at least 6 months
Bed Sharing is NOT safe if :
- Parent is a smoker
- Parent has had alcohol or drugs that make you drowsy
- Parent is excessively tired
- Bed is a sofa, lounge or waterbed
- The bed has pillows, a soft mattress or other children in the bed
- Baby can fall out the bed
- Baby can slip under the covers
- Baby can get trapped between the mattress and wall
- baby can overheat
